My aim is to provide the patient with optimal individualised care. More than two decades of intensive professional experience and well over 1500 operations each on the shoulder, knee and hip joints, account for extensive expertise.

The international exchange with leading colleagues in our field, and especially our own clinical studies, enable a comparison, and constant development and improvement. If there is one constant in our work, it is learning and development.

Of course, we transfer our experience in surgical courses, congresses and with internship opportunities to specialist colleagues. This is proven by more than 100 scientific publications and well over 150 lectures in the fields of knee, shoulder and hip surgery.

For over 20 years, our focus has been on the treatment of patients with trauma, osteoarthritis, sports injuries, as well as sports-related overuse of the shoulder, hip and knee joints. Arthroscopies and minimally invasive joint-preserving or reconstructive surgeries are essential to restore the ability to practice sports for patients of all ages. These surgeries can also avoid or at least delay a joint replacement surgery. Therefore, patients with shoulder, hip or knee conditions should not wait until a joint replacement is unavoidable. If a joint replacement is required, our focus is directed at excellent long-term results and the return to everyday activities and sports. Availability and maximum flexibility are further priorities of our work.
